Tinubu Urges Ministers to Publicize Government Achievements, Hints at Cabinet Reshuffle

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has signaled an impending cabinet reshuffle and directed his ministers to actively engage the media in promoting the achievements of his administration.

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday at the State House, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed that President Tinubu is concerned that many Nigerians are unaware of the government’s efforts and accomplishments.

“The President has expressed his intention to reshuffle the cabinet, though no specific timeline has been provided,” Onanuga revealed. He emphasized that the President has instructed ministers to overcome their hesitancy in dealing with the media and take a proactive approach in sharing their ministries’ progress.

“Some of the ministers have been media shy, but the President has asked them to go out there and speak about the activities of their ministries. The perception that the government is not doing enough is a result of this lack of communication,” Onanuga added.
