Gozy Ijogun, Female Tech-Preneur Appointed as Task Systems Ltd. CEO

 

Gozy Ijogun, a successful female tech entrepreneur, has been appointed as the CEO of Task Systems Ltd. With a Chemistry degree from University College, London, and a Master of Science degree in Accounting, Organizations, and Institutions from the London School of Economics, she embarked on changing the digital landscape of Nigeria.

Ijogun established TD-Mobile, the first organized mobile devices distribution company in the country. Despite challenges, she achieved an astounding N38bn in revenue within the first year, despite having only seven employees. During the project launch in 2013 at Eko Hotel, Mrs. Gozy Ijogun emphasized her mission to revolutionize and restructure the sector, attracting CEOs from banking, manufacturing, and mobile device OEMs.

Surpassing investors’ expectations within a year, her startup company, TD-Mobile, gained recognition as Authorized Distributors for renowned global mobile device brands such as Nokia, Samsung, Infinix, Tecno, and Apple Inc. Her exceptional performance made TD-Mobile seamlessly merged with TD Africa Distributions Ltd., the leading pioneer in technology distribution across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Representing over 25 prestigious global brands including Microsoft, IBM, HP, Cisco, Lenovo, Dell, and Samsung, TD-Mobile thrived under Mrs. Ijogun’s guidance, earning her the esteemed position of Managing Director. Renowned for her professionalism and comprehensive expertise, Mrs. Ijogun demonstrated remarkable leadership skills and consistently achieved impressive growth in revenue, profitability, and market share while prioritizing capacity building.

TD Africa has become a prominent Tech Distribution company in Africa due to the introduction of numerous ICT solution products by Mrs. Ijogun. The company has also launched innovative financing options to support African Resellers, providing access to working capital in a continent plagued by uncertainties. As of April 1st, 2023, Mrs. Ijogun has taken on the role of CEO at Task Systems Ltd, an ICT Solutions Company aiming to be the leading technology company in Africa.

Task Systems, established 36 years ago, has been a trailblazer in the tech sector, delivering groundbreaking ICT solutions across various industries and receiving numerous global awards.
