Niger Delta Minister Pledges Quality Projects for the Region

The Minister of Niger Delta Development, Hon. Engr. Abubakar Momoh, has made a firm commitment to deliver high-quality projects that will bring tangible benefits to the people of the Niger Delta region.

During his working visit to Port Harcourt, Minister Momoh expressed his determination to bring about a positive change in the way projects are executed in the Niger Delta. He stated, “Under my leadership, the Ministry of Niger Delta will approach projects differently. We are committed to delivering high-quality projects, ensuring that they meet stringent standards and are not subpar.”

One of the key aspects of this commitment is the establishment of a dedicated technical team to oversee projects. This team will ensure that every promise made to the people, such as the construction of two kilometers of road, will result in a high-standard road capable of withstanding the elements.

The Minister’s visit to the region included inspections of numerous project sites, starting with the Eleme Petrochemical project. This hands-on approach reflects his dedication to understanding the challenges and opportunities within the region.
