The Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) expresses heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Professor Gabriel Micheal Miller Obi, a distinguished Fellow of the NCS. Dr. Muhammad Sirajo Aliyu, the President of NCS, conveyed these condolences personally in a letter to the bereaved family.
In the letter, Dr. Aliyu pays tribute to the late Professor Obi, acknowledging his significant contributions to the Information Technology sector in Nigeria and the Diaspora. Professor Obi, a former Registrar and the 6th President of the Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN), is remembered for his dedicated and meritorious service.

It states that NCS shares in the sorrow of his departure and extends prayers for the family and the entire Information Technology Community, seeking the strength to cope with this irreparable loss.
