The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) has affirmed its commitment to supporting President Bola Ahmed’s vision of nurturing technical talents to spur job creation for the youth. Air Vice Marshal Sani Rabe, the Commandant of AFIT, made this pledge during the institute’s inaugural public lecture.

Speaking on the theme, “Leveraging Technology Capacity to Achieve the Renewed Hope Agenda,” Rabe highlighted the importance of harnessing information communication technology for human survival in the evolving global society. He assured that AFIT, being an institute of technology, possesses the capacity and competence to actively contribute to realizing this vision.
Rabe reiterated the institute’s dedication to cultivating creativity, fostering innovation, and nurturing problem-solving skills among its students.

Professor Mohammed Ajiya, President of the Digital Bridge Institute, Abuja, urged the federal government to empower specialized institutions, positioning them as crucial drivers of research, innovation, business, entrepreneurship, and technology.
Emphasizing that investing in such institutions will enhance productivity in research and development, he underlined their pivotal role in advancing the nation’s technological landscape.
