Zinox Empowers ICT Media Entrepreneurs with Cutting-Edge Social Media Training

Zinox Group, Africa’s leading ICT solutions provider, has once again demonstrated its commitment to the growth of Nigeria’s digital ecosystem by organising a three-day Social Media Training for over 20 selected ICT media entrepreneurs and online publishers in Lagos.

The programme, which ran from Monday to Wednesday, was designed to equip participants with the skills and strategies needed to leverage social media for business growth, audience expansion, and revenue generation in today’s highly competitive digital space.

In his opening address, Chairman of Zinox Group, Dr. Leo Stan Ekeh, underscored the vital role ICT media has played in shaping Nigeria’s ICT landscape and supporting industry stakeholders. He described the training as both a gesture of appreciation and a deliberate effort to give back to the ICT media community.

“Over the years, ICT media has been instrumental in advocating for innovation, supporting industry players, and ensuring the sector’s growth. This training is our way of showing gratitude while also empowering practitioners to sharpen their skills, scale their businesses, and achieve profitability,” Dr. Ekeh stated.

The sessions were facilitated by senior executives of the Zinox Group, including Ayobami Agbedi, Executive Director, Corporate Affairs and Marketing; Mark Darlington Ibeleme, Head of Marketing; and Chimezie Orisakwe, Head of Corporate and Marketing. Topics covered ranged from emerging social media trends to innovative methods for digital content monetisation, with practical case studies and interactive discussions that enabled participants to gain real-world insights.

Expressing appreciation on behalf of the attendees, Mr. Kenneth Ugbechie, Publisher of Politicaleconomist.com.ng, lauded Dr. Ekeh and Zinox Group for their consistent support of ICT media over the years. He described the training as a timely intervention that would not only strengthen the capacity of ICT media entrepreneurs but also enhance the sustainability of the country’s digital media landscape. He further urged other industry players who have benefited from ICT media advocacy to follow Zinox’s example by investing in the sector’s growth.

With this initiative, Zinox Group has once again reaffirmed its leadership role in Nigeria’s ICT space, setting a precedent for industry stakeholders to actively support the digital media ecosystem and contribute to the country’s economic and technological advancement.
