What to Expect at the Apple Peek Performance Event

Apple may possibly release an entry-level MacBook Pro to replace the M1 model, which was released in November 2020.

Apple is expected to unveil a series of new products in its upcoming “Peek Performance” event on March 8.

The company is expected to unveil the new iPhone SE 3 with a 4.7-inch display in tomorrow’s event. It will feature the A15 bionic and a better chip, with 5G support.

The iPhone SE 3 will have the same design as the iPhone 8, with Touch ID on the Home Button.

The Cupertino-based business is also expected to release the new iPad Air 5, which will have the new A15 chip, improved 12MP front-facing camera, center stage feature, and upgraded rear camera flash to Quad-LED True Tone flash, as well as higher cellular performance from LTE to 5G capability.

Apple might also show off a 27-inch iMac. It will most likely have the same M1 Pro and M1 Max as its MacBook Pro sibling. A 27-inch iMac miniLED display with ProMotion technology is possible.

A proposed update to the chip

In addition, Apple may release an entry-level MacBook Pro to replace the current M1 model, which was released in November 2020.

It’s possible that it’ll come with an improved M2 processor. According to another website, Macrumors, it may have the same design as the current MacBook Pro, featuring a Touch Bar.

A new Mac mini with an Apple Silicon CPU with 8 high-performance cores and 2 efficiency cores is also expected. It would also be able to handle up to 64GB of RAM.

Apple is also anticipated to release various software upgrades, including iOS 15.4 (which will allow Face ID-enabled iPhones to unlock while wearing a mask) and macOS Monterey (which will enable the iPad to Mac via Universal Control feature).
