Tinubu Appoints New Chief Executives For NCC, NIPOST, Others

 

President Bola Tinubu has given his approval for the appointment of new and returning Chief Executives to various agencies operating under the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy:

 

(1) Aminu Maida has been appointed as the EVC / CEO of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).

 

(2) Nkechi Egerton-Idehen will serve as the MD / CEO of the Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT).

 

(3) Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi has been designated as the DG / CEO of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).

 

(4) Dr. Vincent Olatunji will assume the role of National Commissioner / CEO at the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

 

(5) Tola Odeyemi is appointed as the Postmaster General / CEO of the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST).

 

In addition to these appointments, President Tinubu’s commitment to harnessing Nigeria’s technological and digital economic capabilities for enhanced financial inclusion has led to the appointment of a new Special Adviser to the President:

 

Special Adviser to the President on Technology and Digital Economy — Idris Alubankudi.

 

These appointments are effective immediately, as per the President’s directive.
