Pan-Atlantic University Appoints Dr. Peter Bamkole as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration)

Pan-Atlantic University has announced the appointment of Dr. Peter Bamkole as the new Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration). His appointment was approved by the university’s Governing Council and took effect on June 19, 2024.

Dr. Bamkole, who previously served as the Chief Operating Officer, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He was the pioneer Director of the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) at Pan-Atlantic University, a position he held from January 2003 to December 2022.

A seasoned Mechanical Engineer, Dr. Bamkole holds an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain, and a PhD in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the International School of Management (ISM) in Paris. He is also an alumnus of the Chief Executive Programme at Lagos Business School.

With 39 years of experience spanning the public and private sectors, including Oil & Gas, Water Supply, and Education, Dr. Bamkole is a renowned consultant on entrepreneurship development and practice across Sub-Saharan Africa. He is also the author of the book “Built by Enterprise.”

Dr. Bamkole’s extensive expertise and leadership skills are expected to significantly contribute to the continued growth and success of Pan-Atlantic University.
