Nipost Calls for Patronage On Improved, Repositioned Product And Services

 

The Postmaster- General of the Federation/CEO of the Nigeria Postal Service (NIPOST), Mr. Sunday Adepoju, has implored Nigerians to keep sustaining hope on its arrays of products and services.

The statement was made at the 34th Enugu International Trade Fair organized by the Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA), on Wednesday in Enugu.

In his address, he states that NIPOST now has a fast, safe, and efficient mail delivery service that could be tracked and traced while he called on Nigerians to patronize, improved and repositioned products and services as they are affordable, better in compliance with International Postal Administrations Rules and Regulations.

Represented by Adepoju is the State Postal Manager (SPM), Enugu State, Mr. Friday Akoma, He added that NIPOST had evolved under the new leadership especially in E-commerce space, Logistics, reaching the rural unbanked via Financial Services product.

According to Him, the organization also carried out Authentication of receipts to make transactions valid, use of EMS/ Speed Post, which was an indigenous courier service, Parcel Service.

The Poster Service Manager said the service leveraged information technology to track and trace postal items in transit and other services.

The PMG explained that the fair was a veritable opportunity to showcase its products and services to benefit the teeming public.
