Nigeria’s Afrobeat superstar Davido’s long awaited album, ‘Timeless’, got one million streams on Boomplay in about six hours after it was released on the streaming platform.
Davido announced the release of the 17-track album on his social media pages in the early hours of Friday.
Currently The album Timeless, is the No. 1 album on Nigeria’s Top Albums Chart, and UK’s Top Albums Chart as well as in 17 other countries on Apple Music
Davido shares words about his journey from his previous album to the latest and also gave his wife Chioma Rowland a shout-out while appreciating his fans and the people who ensured the completion of the project.
“At long last – WE are back. The journey from my last album to this album has been a whirlwind, to say the least,” Davido wrote on his Twitter page
Singles from the ‘Timeless’ album also topped Sierra Leone’s Apple Music Songs Chart, from number 1 to 17.
