Dr. Bayero Agabi is a leading voice in Nigeria’s digital and technology ecosystem. He serves as Vice President of the Nigeria Internet Group (NIG) and is the President of the Center for Cyber Awareness and Development (CECAD).
He is the Founder of Digivation Network, a pioneering media-tech company that has become a trusted platform for advocacy, analysis, and engagement on technology, innovation, and policy issues. Dr. Agabi also chairs Green Summit Africa, a forum focused on sustainable development, green innovation, and digital transformation across the continent.
An accomplished author, he has written Nigeria’s Digital Heroes and The Digital Promise: A Bridge Yet to Cross, works that document the country’s digital evolution and call for continued investment in infrastructure, skills, and governance to fully unlock Nigeria’s potential.
Dr. Agabi is a Fellow of the Nigeria Computer Society (FNCS), Fellow of the Institute of Information Management (FIIM), and a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (MNIPR), reflecting his deep expertise across ICT policy, media, and stakeholder engagement.
