President Tinubu Dismisses 5 Ministers, Appoints Ojukwu’s Wife, Others as New Cabinet Members

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has dismissed five ministers from his cabinet, making significant changes during the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the State House in Abuja. The affected ministers include Uju Kennedy (Women Affairs), Lola Ade-John (Tourism), Tahir Mamman (Education), Abdullahi Tijjani Gwarzo (State for Housing and Development), and Jamila Bio Ibrahim (Youth).

In their place, President Tinubu has appointed seven new ministers, including Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, the wife of the late Biafran leader, as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

– Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda: Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction
– Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi: Minister of Labour and Employment
– Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu: Minister of State, Foreign Affairs
– Dr. Jumoke Oduwole: Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment
– Idi Mukhtar Maiha: Minister of Livestock Development
– Rt. Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata: Minister of Housing and Urban Development
– Suwaiba Said Ahmad, Ph.D.: Minister of Education
