Pantami Inaugurates National Steering Committee for Nigeria’s Digital Sector

The Minister of Communication and digital Economy, Prof, Isah Ali Pantami has officially inaugurated a National steering committee for the implementation of digital Services and Revenue Assurance Solution for Nigeria’s Digital Economy Sector.

The Inauguration took place in the Communications and Digital Economy Complex, Abuja. Present at the meeting is Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, National Information Technology Development Agency {NITDA} and Directors of the Nigerian Communications Commission {NCC}.

The Implementation is an effort to consolidate the improvement of revenue generation for government as well the digital economy.

Director General, National Information Technology Development Agency, Kashifu inuwa Abudullahi, was in attendance with other members of the committee.

The Implementation Committee on Digital Services and Revenue Assurance System has muti-sectoral membership which are the Ministry of Justice; NCC; CBN; FIRS; academia; and the Private Sector.

Steering Committee has been charged by the Minister of Communication and Digital Economy to work diligently and professionally to deliver the national assignment for economy Development.
