Nigeria at 63: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Deliver Nationwide Address on Sunday

 

In celebration of Nigeria’s 63rd Independence Anniversary, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to deliver a nationwide broadcast on Sunday at 7 am.

 

In a statement issued on Saturday, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, encouraged television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets to connect to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast.

 

Meanwhile, former President Muhammadu Buhari has extended his best wishes to President Tinubu and the Nigerian people on this occasion. He expressed his optimism that democracy will continue to thrive in Nigeria and highlighted Nigeria’s role as an inspirational force on the African continent. This message was conveyed in a statement signed by his spokesperson, Garba Shehu.
