KOGI @31: STATE MINERAL RESOURCES CHAIRMAN FELICITATES WITH GOV BELLO, CITIZENS

The Executive Chairman of Kogi State Mineral Resources Development Agency Hajiya Hassiat Ozavize has congratulated the government and people of Kogi State on occassion of the 31st anniversary of the creation of the state.

Haj. Suleiman lauded the people for their hardwork and unity through the years and expressed admiration for the peaceful relations that has existed in the state despite its diverse citizenry.

Furthermore, the Executive Chairman specially congratulated the governor of Kogi State, 𝗔𝗹𝗵𝗮𝗷𝗶 𝗬𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼, stating that his administration was instrumental to bridging any lingering divide among the people of Kogi State. Moreso, he said that the administration had put the state on the map through various developmental initiatives and programmes, and was in the forefront of stamping out insecurity in the region.

She also gave mention to the development of the mining sector which the administration has overhauled with the creation of the Ministry, Agency and Committee of mineral resources respectively.

While felicitating with the people, Haj. Suleiman admonished citizens not to relent in the pursuit of peace, growth and development for the good of Kogi State.

“There can be no development in a place of strife and uncertainty. I urge Kogites to eschew all manner of violence and criminality in their communities, to see each other as brothers and sisters regardless of tribe or religion, only then can we truly grow and develop as a people,” she said.
