Fire Engulfs Christ Embassy Headquarters in Lagos

The Christ Embassy headquarters in the Oregun area of Lagos was engulfed by fire on Sunday morning. Thick black smoke was still emanating from the white building when TheCable arrived at the scene.

Personnel from the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service are currently working to extinguish the blaze. Meanwhile, police have cordoned off the area to maintain order, halting vehicular and pedestrian movement on the street where the church is located.

Due to the fire, the morning service was immediately relocated to Corner Stone, an annex of the church. Some worshippers speculated that an electrical spark might have triggered the fire.
