Governor Bala Mohammed expressed his appreciation during a meeting with the Director-General of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), Mr Charles Odii. The governor highlighted the importance of SMEs for economic growth, regional development, flexibility, social impact, and economic diversification.
Governor Mohammed pledged to collaborate with Commissioner Shira to strengthen the partnership between the state government and SMEDAN, focusing on programs that foster job creation and poverty reduction. Recognizing the crucial role SMEs play in the overall development of the economy, the governor emphasized the need for sustained efforts in supporting and promoting these enterprises.
