In a bold move to fortify Nigeria’s digital frontiers, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), in collaboration with the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), has officially announced the National Cybersecurity Conference (NCSC 2025), slated for 9th–10th July 2025 at the Abuja Continental Hotel.
Unveiled at a press briefing in Abuja, the inaugural conference is themed “Securing Nigeria’s Digital Future: Innovation, Collaboration, and Resilience.” The event will unite local and international stakeholders to address the growing challenges and opportunities in cybersecurity as Nigeria accelerates its digital transformation.
NITDA Director-General, during the announcement, emphasized the need for a resilient cybersecurity framework, stating that while digital technologies have unleashed innovation and growth, they have also exposed Nigeria to cybercrime, data breaches, and risks to critical national infrastructure.

• Live technical sessions, product exhibitions, and workshops

• A Capture the Flag (CTF) hackathon to spotlight and engage Nigerian youth
