President Tinubu Appoints New Directors-General and Special Adviser

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of three Nigerians as Directors-General of key national agencies, along with a Special Adviser on Public Communications and Media.

The newly appointed officials are:

1. Mr. Olawale Olopade – Director-General, National Sports Commission. Olopade brings a wealth of experience as a sports administrator, having served as Ogun State’s Commissioner of Youth and Sports and chaired the organizing committee for the 2024 National Sports Festival.

2. Dr. Abisoye Fagade – Director-General, National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism. Fagade is a seasoned marketing communication expert and founder of Sodium Brand Solutions.

3. Dr. Adebowale Adedokun – Director-General, Bureau of Public Procurement. Adedokun previously served as Director of Research, Training, and Strategic Planning at the bureau.

4. Mr. Daniel Bwala – Special Adviser, Media and Public Communications (State House). Bwala is a lawyer and a prominent public affairs analyst.

President Tinubu has called on the appointees to serve with dedication, patriotism, and excellence.
