The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has announced the postponement of the Digital Nigeria International Conference 2024 due to unforeseen circumstances. This was disclosed in a public notice issued by Hajia Hadiza Umar, Director of Corporate Communications and Media Relations at NITDA.
The notice stated that the conference, originally scheduled to take place from October 22 to October 24, 2024, at the International Conference Centre in Abuja, has been delayed because the venue is undergoing extensive renovations that will not be completed in time for the event.

“We sincerely regret to inform you that the Digital Nigeria International Conference 2024, originally scheduled to be held between 22nd to 24th October 2024, has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances,” the notice read.
NITDA also acknowledged the challenge of securing an alternative venue that could accommodate the large-scale nature of the conference. The agency apologized for the disruption this may cause and assured attendees that efforts are underway to reschedule the event.
“We understand that this postponement may cause inconvenience, and we apologise for any disruption it may cause to your plans,” Umar said. “Our team is actively working to find a suitable alternative date and venue for the conference. We will provide updates as soon as they become available.”
